Teacher's Mind Can't Sleep

I am moving schools in a week or so. I started teaching at Myers Elementary in 1995 (student teaching) then got my first teaching job there. I taught until my first child was born, then subbed while having the others. In 2008, I went back full time at a different school in town. This year I am changing to this classroom. As you see, we got new floors and NOTHING is in the room. So many ideas are floating around in my head. I am toying with the idea of an "Explorer" (or explorador in Spanish) theme. Send any ideas this way.

What are your main topics for science, social studies, and math? You could do some cool things with your theme... I like to have a two word theme or a catch phrase... like Exploration & Adventure or Exploration & Endurance or Exploration: Reach for the stars... tying it to whatever content you have going on... just ideas from a tired professor... love ya

Exploradores: Empieza la aventura (sound good?) I can change that part with each unit. So far, bats, plants, history, space, and simple machines. I am sure to throw in Fairy Tales and some other fun stuff.
